Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Rochelle, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our cold storage systems running 24/7. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, and ammonia refrigeration equipment, with hands-on work and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, CO₂, Freon).
• Hands-on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments (-20°F to 100°F).
• Flexible availability, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Shift Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00pm - 4:00am Shift Differential: $1.00/hr Keep Our Operations Running, Safely and Smoothly At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands‑on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success.
