Job summary

Alliance Group is seeking a full-time Refrigeration Technician based out of our Essex Junction, VT operations center. This field-based role handles routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC and related systems, including mini splits, refrigeration, chillers, and package rooftops.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills, with ability to operate company vehicle and meet safety

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HVAC experience required (residential OR commercial - we will train!)
• NH and/or VT Gas license preferred
• EPA Certification preferred
• Additional certifications such as S-Electrical, and NORA Oil are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently.
• High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion and integrity.
• Proactive, positive problem-solving skills.
• Must maintain a company vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
• Must be able to climb up and down Scaffolding, Ladders, Stairs as job requires.
• U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
• Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
• A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Determine diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations for HVAC/R systems
• Safely perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating and fully explaining current issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers when appropriate.
• Identify and report to owner potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, type of fuel, necessary test measurements, and pictures as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company work vehicle.

Job Summary:
Alliance Group is seeking a full-time Refrigeration Technician based out of our Essex Junction, VT operations center.
This is a field-based position responsible for the routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of residential and commercial HVAC and related mechanical systems. This includes mini splits, refrigeration systems, chillers, package rooftops, and more. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, and high-level customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Role-Specific Duties:
