Job summary

MB HAYNES Corporation in Asheville, NC seeks an experienced Refrigeration Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial systems. The role requires working on-call, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to complete work orders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include five years of field refrigeration experience, EPA universal certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma; trade school is a plus.

Qualifications

• Five years field experience in the commercial/industrial Refrigeration service trade.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school degree a plus but not required.
• Must pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendance.
• Must be able to get along with fellow workers customers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot refrigeration systems such as refrigeration storage units, ice machines, beverage equipment, etc., to the customer's satisfaction.
• Must be driven to succeed and work with minimum supervision.
• Process and complete work orders using strong problem-solving skills and HVAC/R experience.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, suggest and perform system improvements, modifications and repairs as assigned.
