Job summary

• High school diploma/GED plus trade or technical classes.
• Valid EPA certification.
• 3–5 years in commercial HVAC, refrigeration and electrical.
• Knowledge of rack systems, rack controls, display cases, walk-ins and electric defrost circuits.
• Lockout/tagout and arc flash knowledge; leak detection experience.
• Able to lift 60 lbs; valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
• Repair and overhaul compressors, pumps, air handlers, and controls.
• Service HVAC, ice machines, evaporative condensers, gas furnaces, and motors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support start-ups of new installs.
