Job summary

Randalls in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to monitor and repair building systems, including refrigeration, HVAC, EMS and electrical equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, performing repairs, and documenting solutions to prevent future failures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily checks on HVAC, refrigeration, EMS systems in facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration problems; repair and document.
• Maintain records for EPA forms and compliance documents.
• Overtime weekends/holidays and on-call as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and report issues.

PositionPurpose:

Monitoringbuilding equipmentforsafety purposesandrepair. Troubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC, mechanicaland electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions and making recommendations for further action.

KeyResponsibilitiesinclude, butarenotlimited to:

• Mustbewilling toworkovertime onweekends,holidays,andafter-hourswhenon call
• MakedailymechanicalcheckonequipmentintheMechanicalRoom,Roof,HVAC,EMSsystems, refrigerated cases and walk-ins. etc.
• Maintainallrefrigeration,HVAC,EMSsystems, electrical,and mechanicalsystemsandmakenecessaryrepairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections and records required information and maintainsjurisdictionallyapplicablerecords,EPAformsandrequireddocumentationinbothpaperformatstore and electronic in Corrigo and Trakref.
• MonitorspreventivemaintenanceworkdonebyoutsidecontractorsandnotifiesAreaRefrigerationManager of issues or problems with outside contractors.
• Responsiblefortroubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC,mechanicalandelectricalproblems, performingrepairs, documenting solutions and recommending further action.
• Maintainsahightechnicallevel introubleshootingandmaintenanceofmechanicalandelectricalequipment.
• Managecommunicationsforservicecallsinatimelymanner asrequired.
• Maintaincurrentlicense, inspection,permit,andcertificaterequirementstomeetallstateandlocalcodes.
• OperatesEMSbuilding controlsandautomationsystems.Finetuneoperatingparameters.Adjustsetpoints and schedules. Fully understand and modify building control sequences and operates the EMS / BMS systems.
• Performavariety ofadministrativetaskssuch asorderingmaterial andwritingpurchase orders,anddataentry for work reports and refrigerant leak reports via company supplied electronics.
• Performallduties inatimely,efficient,&professionalmanner.
• Maintainaneat, cleanandsafeworkareainmechanicalroom,roof,service vehicle, etc.

Qualifications:Thefollowingare preferred:

EducationLevel:

• HighSchooldiploma orequivalent.Graduate ofbuildingrelated vocational-technical programsarepreferred.

ExperienceLevel:

• Minimumofthreeyearsrecent experienceperformingrefrigerationservice,ormaintenanceworkinbuilding related trades.
