Job summary

ITW in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled assembler to join our production team assembling refrigerated and heated units. You will read job travelers and blueprints, measure and cut, solder wiring, crimp connectors, and install components into cabinets according to engineering specs.

You will operate spot-welding and punch machines, set up and test lines, maintain cleanliness, follow safety rules, and verify final assemblies for shipping.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret job travelers, diagrams and specifications.
• Proficient with a variety of hand and power tools to assemble components.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with ability to read part requirements.
• Able to assemble components by following diagrams and production docs.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment and basic wiring techniques.
• Familiar with production schedules and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Read job traveler instructions and blueprints to determine build requirements.
• Measure and cut wire, solder, and crimp connectors.
• Bend, cut, and crimp component leads for mounting into wiring harnesses.
• Assemble parts per BOM and blueprints; install components into cabinets.
• Operate spot-welding and punch machines; test line functionality.
• Assemble hinges, gaskets, brackets, and mounting hardware per specs.
• Ensure final assemblies meet quality standards and complete packing for shipment.
