Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Identify parts used on their assigned product line, and their placement location on the product itself.
• Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings to determine locations, size, capacity, and type of components, such as compressor, condenser, expansion valves and tubing or piping needed to build equipment.
• Cut, bend, and braze specified tubing to inlets and outlets of components to form liquid and suction lines or refrigeration systems.
• Remove air from system and charges system with specified amount and type of refrigerant.
• Conduct pre-startup to check all equipment.
• Identify power and hand tools used on their assigned product line.
• Performs any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools.
