Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced facilities maintenance professional to operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and related systems in a food plant environment.

Job Details: Join a critical operations team responsible for maintaining and supporting essential plant utility systems that help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced ammonia refrigeration systems, HCFC systems, hot water systems, air compressors, waste treatment operations, and other key facility infrastructure. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining operational excellence while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training from an Air-conditioning Refrigeration Technical School is a plus. RETA and IIAR Ammonia Refrigeration training is preferred.
Experience: 3 plus years Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and equipment room experience in a food plant preferred; experience in the Air Conditioning Refrigeration industry a plus; industrial maintenance experience a plus. Team members must have working knowledge of electrical testing equipment and basic hand and power tools. Extensive knowledge of Industrial Safety procedures is preferred. RETA I Certification and Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification preferred. Must be able to read and understand Equipment and System P ID s. Must be able to pass a HAZ-Mat physical and pass the training to be certified as an Emergency Responder Technician Level and participate on the Emergency Response Team.
Computer Skills: Must have a working knowledge of Windows based software such as Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn and apply Tyson SAP- PM Plant Maintenance system.
Communication Skills: Must be able speak read and write fluently in English; and possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills critical thinking and problem-solving skills; and interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
Travel: Approximately one to two weeks travel per year is possible for training.

Special Skills: Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance including hydraulics pneumatics PLC s Motor Controls and shop equipment operation desired. Experience with Air Conditioning Refrigeration systems operation and maintenance a plus.
