Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is looking for a professional Refrigeration Technician in Hainesport Township, NJ. The technician will travel to client sites to maintain and repair large refrigeration systems in laboratory settings.

Join a trusted, 30+ year leader in laboratory and medical refrigeration service. We’re seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Refrigeration Technician to service, repair, and install large industrial fridges, freezers, and ultra-low temperature units in labs and research facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to client sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues — not just replace parts
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service
• Handle refrigerants safely and in full EPA compliance

What We’re Looking For

• EPA Universal Certification required
• 2–5+ years of commercial/industrial refrigeration experience (lab experience preferred)
• Must have own hand tools and multimeter
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
