Century Mechanical Holdings is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Pipefitter to join our team in Massachusetts. This role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC piping systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring code compliance.

You will work with technicians and project managers, perform pressure testing and leak detection, and contribute to a growing organization that values safety, workmanship, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial refrigeration/HVAC piping.
• 3-5 years of refrigerant piping installation/repair.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of pressure testing, evacuation, leak detection, and refrigeration systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC piping systems.
• Install refrigerant piping, fittings, valves, controls, and related components.
• Measure, cut, bend, braze, solder, and assemble piping according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and job specifications.
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, evacuation, and system start-up.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration piping and system issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Work with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated refrigeration equipment.
• Coordinate with technicians, project managers, contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure work complies with Massachusetts codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

• Strong brazing, soldering, pipefitting, and refrigeration piping skills.
• 3-5 years experience with refrigerant piping installation and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical plans.
• Knowledge of pressure testing, evacuation, leak detection, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Significant commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with construction, retrofit, and service projects.
• Experience with larger commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems.
• ServiceTitan or similar field-service software experience.
