Job summary

Harris Ranch Beef Company in Selma, CA is hiring for its Utilities team on swing or graveyard shifts. Advanced knowledge of industrial maintenance, brazing, welding, fabrication, electrical systems, boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, and use of hand/power tools is required.

Candidates must have at least 2 years in refrigeration/HVAC, EPA universal license, and ability to read schematics and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Refrigeration and HVAC.
• EPA (universal) license or certification.
• Pass safety requirements including: confined space and lockout/tag out.
• Read, understand OSHA MSDS requirements.
• Read and understand job hazards and food safety in maintenance.
• Read and understand preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.

We are currently hiring for our Utilities team! Positions are available for either Swing Shift or Graveyard Shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance, Brazing, Welding, Fabrication, Electrical, PLC’s, Boilers, Refrigeration, HVAC, Use of All Hand/ Power Tools and Equipment, Strong Work Ethic, Communication Skills, Understanding the Role of Maintenance in Food Safety, Workplace Ethics

• Ability to identify root causes of breakdowns on various types of utility equipment.


• Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair pumps, electrical systems, motors, gearboxes, bearings, sprockets, drive chains, electrical controls, air compressors, augers, plumbing and lighting.


• Knowledge and ability to perform preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling units, condensers, boiler systems, Ammonia & Freon compressors, and understanding of refrigeration cycles.


• Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a daily maintenance activity report of work performed, read and understand electrical schematics with the use of equipment manuals.

Recommended Skill:

Completed Course of Ammonia Operator I & Boiler Operator I

Certification and/or degree in Industrial Maintenance Course Program

Knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration Systems, Boiler Systems, and Chillers

QualificationsQualifications:
