Job summary

Harris Ranch Beef Company is hiring for our Utilities team to sustain maintenance of refrigeration, boilers, pumps and electrical systems to ensure top-quality beef production.

Candidates should have 2+ years in refrigeration/HVAC, EPA universal license, and ammonia system experience. We offer competitive benefits and growth in a fast-paced beef processing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Refrigeration and HVAC.
• EPA (universal) license or certification required.
• Completed course of Ammonia Operator I & Boiler Operator I.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of safety practices including OSHA MSDS and lockout/tag out.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair pumps, electrical systems, motors, gearboxes, and lighting.
• Perform preventative maintenance on chillers, boilers, condensers, ammonia & Freon compressors.
• Read electrical schematics and equipment manuals; follow safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment in a fast-paced food production environment with minimal supervision.
