Job Summary

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings. Does this position require Patient Care? No

Essential Functions

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in various settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems.
• Ensure that refrigeration systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
• Install and maintain refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain necessary documentation.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

Heating and Ventilation Engineer [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters required

Experience

Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience 1-2 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including how they work, how to diagnose problems, and how to repair them.
• Familiarity with refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
