Job summary

JBS USA in Utah seeks an hourly maintenance mechanic to perform safety-focused preventive maintenance on plant equipment. The shift runs from 6 pm to 6:30 am, four days a week with a six-week rotation.

The role covers boilers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing, and ammonia refrigeration maintenance; you will support other areas during major issues and ensure compliance with safety and food safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing & ammonia refrigeration preferred.

Responsibilities

Functional Requirements

• Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisor
• Assist in the day to day operations of the maintenance department. Includes but is not limited to the assistance of all maintenance areas of the plant, insuring that all assigned areas of the maintenance department areas are being monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, & procedures.
• Experience with maintenance on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing & ammonia refrigeration preferred
