Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Refrigeration/Industrial Maintenance worker for a 7 PM to 7 AM shift on a four-day work week. The role requires at least 1 year of refrigeration or industrial maintenance experience, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year minimum experience in Refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Must pass physical and background check.
• Able to walk/stand for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good work/attendance record and reliability.
• Must complete 90 days.
• Willing to work weekends, days or nights, and overtime.
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Work in cold/hot temps and wet areas.
• Capable of moderate to heavy lifting.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to climb and work on platforms.
• Able to pull and push heavy equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and manuals.
• Read and write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Monitor and maintain refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare work orders for defects found.
• Maintain process safety management records.
• Keep records according to SOPs.
• All operators must participate in HAZMAT and confined space training.

GENERAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Required a minimum of 1 year experience in Refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Must be able to pass physical and contingent to a background check.
• Must have the ability to work while walking/standing for long periods of time.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must have a good work/attendance record and be responsible.
• Must have completed 90 days
• Must be willing to work weekends, Day’s or Night’s and overtime when required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work with little or no supervision.
• Must be able to work in both cold and hot temperatures, and wet areas.
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be able to problem solve / ability to solve mechanical problems.
• Must be able to climb and perform work on platforms
• Must be able to pull and push heavy equipment
• Follow safety rules while operating machinery and follow procedure manuals
• Must be able to Read and Write basic English

Job Duties to Include
