Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician for 1st Shift to perform skilled maintenance on the facility's refrigeration and HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration.

Pay will vary based on experience level, and there is a shift increase for second and third shift with potential for overtime. Responsibilities include preventative and predictive maintenance, electrical and mechanical tasks, log keeping, and ensuring safety and food safety programs are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance program.
• Experience with ammonia systems preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Complete daily log sheets and communicate safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain plant efficiencies, product quality, and capacity.
• Assist in maintaining mechanical inventory and safety programs.
• Work with ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, HVAC and related equipment.
