Tyson Foods in Nebraska is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and wastewater systems with minimal supervision. The role includes preventive maintenance, monitoring ammonia safety, and supporting boiler and refrigeration equipment.
The shift is B Shift on a rotating 12-hour schedule (2-2-3), with hours 3:30 pm–4:00 am. Applicants may be required to work overtime and undergo standard background checks as applicable.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
This position is responsible for running the ammonia refrigeration and waste water systems with minimal supervision. Refrigeration Technicians perform maintenance and repairs on the machines and equipment related to boilers and refrigeration and constantly monitor the status of the ammonia system in accordance with Process Safety Management.
