Tyson Foods in Forest, MS, is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance starter for the 3rd shift. You will clean ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC/MAUs, change filters, and shadow Refrigeration Techs for training. You’ll create maintenance notifications, submit work orders, and log time in SAP.

## Refrigeration Maintenance, 3rd shift, Forest, MSApply: Forest, MS Complex - Forest, Mississippi: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 23, 2026 (27 days left to apply): R0487565**Job Details:****Job Description**This position is a starter position in the Refrigeration Department to perform cleaning/washing Ammonia refrigeration air units and HVAC /MAUs units on the roof, change filters, clean roof area,etc and shadow Refrigeration Techs to be trained in the ammonia refrigeration system and will be considered for any future Refrigeration Tech positions open.Need to create Maintenance Notifications, work orders, and confirm time into the SAP system.Perform other duties as assigned.**Requirements:**Applicant must be able to work in are hot/cold/wet environments.Position requires pushing, pulling, or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet.Position requires walking and standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor.The work schedule is 6 days a week, be off during the week, and must be able to work on weekends and holidays as scheduled. This position may require you to rotate shifts as needed and must be willing to work overtime as needed.**Position requires** passing a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year to maintain position. This job requires being clean shaven to get a proper fit while using APR/SCBA equipment. Requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.Must be able to complete Refrigeration and General Maintenance computer-based training.\\*Must have 1 year maintenance experience within the immediate past 2 years.**Rehiring Criteria: Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior.
