Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for the evening shift in Utah. You will perform preventative maintenance on boilers, air compressors, HVAC systems, plumbing, and ammonia refrigeration, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on maintenance work, collaboration with the plant team, and involvement in day-to-day operations. Shift is 6 pm to 6:30 am, 4 days a week with a rotation every 6 weeks, with EOE/VET/DISABLED noted.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility maintenance and safe work practices.
• Preferred experience with boilers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing and ammonia refrigeration.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all maintenance functions are performed safely and per procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Assist other plant areas when major problems occur.

Responsibilities

• This position ensures all aspects of the maintenance mechanic functions are performed in a safety and acceptable method.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment that is assigned by the maintenance supervisors/lead hand.
• Assist other areas of the plant when major problems occur

Functional Requirements

• Completes all assigned tasks scheduled and unscheduled work as directed by supervisor
• Assist in the day to day operations of the maintenance department. Includes but is not limited to the assistance of all maintenance areas of the plant, insuring that all assigned areas of the maintenance department areas are being monitored and documented as required by safety, food safety, company policy, & procedures.
• Experience with maintenance on boilers, air compressors, HVAC, plumbing & ammonia refrigeration preferred
