Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a Foreman to act as the technical lead and crew chief on assigned HVAC and refrigeration projects. You will guide field teams, report progress, and manage costs while ensuring safety and compliance across installations.

You will collaborate with customers, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality, using Projectmates and standard tools to track labor and materials. Growth opportunities abound in a diverse, year-round workload.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial building construction or related industry/trade
• Ability to organize tasks and manage labor hours
• Ability to guide teams with clear instructions and safe practices
• Ability to track project costs and adhere to policies and laws
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Technical resource on assigned projects.
• Report on job status and performance to stakeholders.
• Control job costs and manage resources.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, GCs and subcontractors.
• Ensure use of PPE and safe work behavior across the crew.
• Ensure compliance with Installation policies and project tracking, safety and attendance.
• May oversee third-party resources.
