Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Store Maintenance Technician to provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, ice machines and refrigeration systems for assigned stores. You will complete work orders, enter data in the Service Channel system and respond to after-hours calls.

The role requires EPA Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and 3+ years in a related field, with the ability to travel within the region in a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• HVAC, ice machines, refrigeration systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and after-hours calls.
• EPA Universal certification and state licensure as required.
• Able to travel daily within the region in company vehicle.
• Excellent communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting, energy management and related systems.
• Plan work, obtain tools, equipment and materials; enter work orders in Service Channel promptly.
• Inspect stores, propose improvements, and take corrective action when needed.
• Advise store managers and maintenance supervisors on repairs and upgrades.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies, including nights and weekends.
• Update controls and EMS set-points for refrigeration and EMS systems.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
