Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Store Maintenance technician to provide preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and ice machines for assigned Food Lion stores in the USA-SC region. You will complete work orders, enter data in Service Channel, and respond to after-hours calls to minimize equipment downtime and optimize energy efficiency.

The role requires EPA Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
EPA Certification (Universal).
State Licensures, if required.
3+ years' experience in a related field.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
Ability to travel daily in company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform and oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, lighting, energy management, and related systems in assigned stores.
Plan and generate work orders, obtain tools and materials, and enter data into the maintenance system (Service Channel).
Inspect stores and propose improvements; troubleshoot refrigeration, ice machines, and EMS controls.
Advise store managers and maintenance supervisors on repairs and upgrades.
Ensure safety guidelines are followed and after-hours calls are handled as needed.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and maintain control set-points for refrigeration/EMS.
Respond to work-order requests and after-hours emergencies.
