Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking skilled Technicians to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities.

Join a team with bi-annual bonuses, paid training, a company vehicle, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs with supervision from Master/Lead Technician; requires High School Diploma and HVAC-R training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R technical training preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• Minimum 5 years field experience or 3 years with Certification from a Technical School.
• Internal candidates: 1 year as a Qualified Technician with on-the-job training and skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems with some supervision from a Master/Lead Technician.
• Complete work tickets and time sheets; use handheld computer for invoicing.
• Maintain truck inventory and assist with diagnostics, installation and repairs as needed.
• Develop customer relations and communicate equipment issues clearly using proper terminology.
