Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Developmental Technician specializing in Refrigeration and HVAC Maintenance at our Elizabethton store. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep facilities and equipment safe, functional and compliant, under supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager.

Requirements include 18+ with a High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with clean MVR, and Type I/II EPA certification.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, state-issued driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Use work orders to document repair activities and support stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training to operate tools and equipment.
