Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to oversee field operations for supermarket refrigeration installs and remodels. You will direct tradesmen, interpret blueprints, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality on site.

This role requires strong leadership, customer communication, and the ability to travel up to 75% to meet project demands. Day 1 benefits are offered, including medical and 401(k) options, with a compensation package aligned to regional markets.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ relevant experience of leading and directing commercial refrigeration installations on jobsites.
• Valid State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and provide direction to tradesmen to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Develop and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines and weather challenges.
• Provide project status updates to stakeholders including project managers.
• Uphold safety standards and OSHA compliance while protecting company assets.
• Interpret blueprints, conduct material takeoffs, and procure supplies.
• Oversee refrigeration installations including piping, compressor rooms, and cases per specs.
• Record daily progress and report deviations from plan.
• Train and mentor junior team members across trades.
