Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to install refrigeration systems for supermarket projects. You will handle electrical, piping, and fixture installations, and work across piping cooler boxes, overhead lines, and compressor rooms.

Expect to install pipe hangers and provide construction support under the Foreman. The role requires brazing, insulation, and reading blueprints, with strong safety practices and the ability to travel about half the time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in pipefitting of supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install supermarket refrigeration systems including electrical, piping, and fixture installation.
• Pipe cooler boxes, overhead lines, compressor rooms/houses, and refrigeration cases.
• Install pipe hangers as directed by the Foreman.
• Provide construction support by brazing, insulating, hanging piping, and assisting the Construction Foreman.
