Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Piper I to perform brazing to install refrigeration components and assist with unit layout and setup in accordance with established standards. The role requires measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling copper and steel tubing, plus torch brazing and test procedures.

You will operate tubing tools, flaring equipment, and assist with suction and discharge piping while ensuring leak checks and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3–6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
• Ability to write reports and respond to questions from managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Use torch to braze copper to copper pipes and perform brazing fundamentals.
• Operate copper saw, tube bender, and flaring tools; conduct suction and discharge piping.
• Pressurize and leak check units; follow safety and quality standards.
