Job summary

Quirch Foods Caribbean, LLC. is seeking a warehouse picker for a refrigerated environment. You will select products from pick tickets, operate forklift and pallet jack, and ensure FIFO delivery.

Sunday and Tuesday-Thursday night shifts are part of the schedule, with starting pay of $13 per hour. Applicants must be 18+, able to read/write English, have warehouse experience with powered equipment, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday; 5 PM to finish; extended hours, extra shifts and holidays.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English to perform tasks, read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, and shipping papers.
• Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, MHE).
• Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanners; SQF certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack and other equipment.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations; pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked product to inventory locations; transport to shipping area as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on MHE; assist with cleaning and maintenance per supervisor.
