Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a warehouse associate to receive, store, and distribute materials and products across our facility. You will read schedules, pick orders, and prepare shipments while following GMPs and PPE requirements.

The role requires basic math, reading ability, accuracy, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular attendance and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a limited number of words and recognize differences in words and numbers.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply/divide with 10s and 100s using money and weight units.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Read production, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open containers and prepare parcels for mailing.
• Maintain inventory records and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
