Job summary

Hickman’s Family Farms in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Refrigerated Warehouse Loader to load and unload products from trailers in a cold warehouse environment. You will use the NAVISION ERP system and a scanner to track movement and bin positions.

The role requires standing for up to 8 hours, lifting 30-50 lbs, and obtaining pallet jack and forklift certification. You must be able to work in temperatures around 40°F or colder and follow FIFO procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of becoming pallet jack / forklift certified.
• Ability to read, understand and complete simple math problems.
• Capable of standing and walking for up to 8 hrs. a shift.
• Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Able to work in extreme cold temperatures (40 degrees and colder).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product from trailers in a cold temperature warehouse.
• Inspect all trailers and verify temperatures before loading and/or unloading.
• Use First In First Out (FIFO) for all product movement.
• Perform cycle counts as necessary.
• Utilize scanner to move product and complete necessary paperwork daily for loading and unloading.
