Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operator role in Illinois. You will work Monday through Friday, 4:00pm–9:30pm, performing/assisting with receiving, storage, and shipment tasks, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The position requires RF scanning experience and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in cold environments when needed. Benefits include 401k contributions, PTO, and access to wages before payday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Radiofrequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to consistently lift 80 lbs and stand for entire shift.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Overtime with little to no advance notice may be required.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Able to work in freezer conditions (-5°F) when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including accurately picking, quality checks, and sorting.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to maintain a clean work environment.
• Adhere to OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local regulations and cGMP guidelines.
• Complete routine assignments with supervision and review output with lead or supervisor.
• Support vaccine order picking and packing in cold environments when required.
