Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking Flex Workers for a PRN, as-needed schedule. You will work up to 29 hours per week at $20.00–$20.60 per hour, primarily evenings. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Training is provided on day one, with cross-training across warehouse areas. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment if required.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a 36°F-42°F environment for up to 8 hours or longer.
• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• Accurately pick products, perform quality checks, pack products, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Equipment in facility includes cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Additional Job Description Flex Workers are Cardinal Health Employees who are hired on a PRN (as needed basis) with a variable/flexible schedule. Employees must work a minimum of one day per week, and pick up hours as they prefer, not exceeding 29 hours per week. Schedule: Monday 3:30pm to 11:30pm or until task complete. Remainder of the week, work as many or few hours are you choose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.
