Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Camden, NJ to plan, route, and negotiate efficient cold-chain transportation for customers. You will manage lanes, coordinate with carriers, and schedule refrigerated trucks while ensuring profitability and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in logistics, proficiency with AS400/RMIS/TMS, and strong communication skills. Onsite role with hourly wage offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and or 3+ years of equivalent Logistics experience
• PC, leadership and planning skills helpful
• Experience in AS400, RMIS, TMS, Word, Excel, Online Scheduling Systems, and Power Point a plus
• Experience with warehouse paperwork a plus
• Ability to thrive in a constantly changing chaotic environment and consistently meet tight timeline
• Ability to coordinate with contracted trucking dispatchers and drivers

Responsibilities

• Independently manage profitability and service of assigned lanes through daily planning
• Negotiate rates and schedule/route delivery vehicles
• Plan profitable and efficient single/multi-stop temperature-controlled trucks
• Procure carriers and drive brokerage department growth
• Interact with customers and carriers to solve problems
• Coordinate with warehouse schedulers to ensure timely shipping
• Maintain accurate TMS data and load details
• Manage carrier onboarding and use load boards for procurement
