Job summary

ConGlobal is seeking a Refrigerated Container Technician to diagnose, repair, and inspect Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units and gensets. The role involves pre-trip inspections, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to meet shipping needs.

Qualified candidates will have experience with refrigerated systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. EPA Certification and a valid driver’s license are required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Refrigerated Shipping Container Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems and gensets.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Experience with pre-trip inspections and troubleshooting refrigerated units.
• Strong communicator; professional with team and clients.
• Proficient reading and understanding computer-generated work orders.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass a background/drug test.
• EPA Certification and a valid driver’s license; forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Thermo King and Carrier refrigerated containers and gensets.
• Perform repairs on refrigeration units, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning before shipment.
• Provide maintenance and corrective actions on gensets.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures during repair and diagnostic activities.
• Collaborate with logistics and shipping teams to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
• Assist with parts ordering and inventory management for repairs.
• Follow up on repair status and communicate with the team.
