Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring a Refrigerated Container Technician in Seattle to diagnose, repair, and inspect Thermo King and Carrier refrigerated containers and Gensets. You will perform pre-trip inspections, conduct maintenance, and ensure safety and timely readiness of units for shipment.

The role requires EPA certification and a valid driver’s license with forklift proficiency, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration systems.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Pre-trip inspections experience for refrigerated units.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Thermo King and Carrier refrigerated shipping containers and Gensets.
• Perform necessary repairs on refrigeration units, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure proper functioning of refrigerated containers before shipment.
• Provide maintenance and corrective actions on Gensets (thermo-electric units).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all repair and diagnostic activities.
• Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely and efficient container readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
• Assist with ordering parts and managing inventory to ensure necessary tools and materials are available for repairs.
• Follow up on repair status and communicate with the team to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
