Job summary

Hudson Technologies is seeking a Production Associate – Refrigerant Separation in Champaign, IL and Atlanta, GA to support safe refrigerant processing and recovery. You will operate separation systems, ensure product quality, and maintain detailed records in a dynamic plant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with refrigerants, and a commitment to safety. Training and advancement opportunities exist within a mission-driven company focused on sustainability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of refrigerants and EPA regulations preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety protocols and work with process data.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerant separation systems per SOPs and safety protocols.
• Handle and process recovered refrigerant cylinders with proper labeling and documentation.
• Work with process controllers and HMI to control pressures, temperatures and flow rates.
• Collect refrigerant samples and perform quality checks for purity.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and minor troubleshooting of plant equipment.
• Comply with EPA and DOT guidelines for refrigerant handling, storage and transport.
• Accurately record data for production and environmental tracking.
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean workspace following 5S standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and continuous improvement goals.
