Job summary

A-Gas seeks a Warehouse Data Entry Operator for the Refriclaim Check In process. You will perform data entry for test results on inbound cylinders, assist lab troubleshooting, and operate Micro GC equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, EPA 608 certification within 6 months, and willingness to work 40+ hours weekly with overtime. Strong attention to detail and safety compliance are essential. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Certification within first 6 months.
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week with overtime.
• High attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders.
• Previous experience with compressed gas is a plus.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualification

Essential

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to obtain EPA 608 Certification within first 6 months of employment
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hours
• Must have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders
• Must be able to follow standard operating procedures
• Must be able to handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders
• Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Frequently pushes, pulls, moves and/or lifts up to 50 pounds independently
• Sitting 10% of the day; standing and/or walking 80-90% of the time
• Lifting/Carrying from one level to another approximately 20%
• Occasionally moves cylinders that weigh up to 200 pounds with four-wheel cart
• Frequently ascends/descends stairs and/or ladders, occasionally carrying materials weighing up to 30lbs
• Frequently identifies written information on cylinders such as serial numbers, manufacture date, etc.
• Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
• Manipulations (seizing, holding, grasping or otherwise working with hands) up to 50-75% of the day
• Frequently drives a motorized vehicle or powered industrial truck (i.e. Forklift) and safely mauver in restrictive spaces
• Stooping and kneeling up to 20% of the day
• Frequently communicates detailed information to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information that others can understand.
• Constantly works in environments with uncontrolled climate and frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions
