Job summary

Pyrotek is seeking a Large Shapes Specialist to operate hand-controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate refractory into molds, ensuring safe and efficient prep, mixing, casting, firing and finishing. You will complete work orders to deliver high-quality products on time.

The role requires reading and understanding work orders, safety rules, and drawings, with emphasis on basic mechanical skills and precision in measurements and math calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/TASC required.
• 1+ year experience in mixing, casting, firing and finishing refractory shapes or concrete preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand-controlled mechanisms to pour and regulate refractory into molds.
• Prepare, mix, cast, firing and finishing of refractory shapes.
• Complete work orders to build products of on-time delivery.
