Job summary

ETS Vision is seeking a full-time optometrist to join a specialized refractive surgery team in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will focus on refractive and surgical eye care, working with experienced surgeons to manage consultations, pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for LASIK, SMILE, EVO ICL and premium cataract procedures.

Expect about 20 patients per day with 1–2 days per week in San Ramon, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM hours, and a five-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required.
• Active California optometry license required.
• Interest in refractive surgery and surgical co-management.
• Refractive surgery management experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Willingness to work between Santa Clara and San Ramon locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations, refractions, IOP measurements and dilated exams.
• Perform gonioscopy and diagnose/manage ocular conditions; develop individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with refractive surgeons for optimal surgical outcomes.
• Provide pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care for LASIK, ZEISS SMILE, EVO ICL, refractive lens exchange, and premium cataract surgery.
• Manage patient flow with clinical technicians and maintain high-quality care.
