Qualifications

• Basic ophthalmic knowledge and skills for patient testing and documentation.
• No prior ophthalmology experience is required; hands-on training provided.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and accurate data entry is important.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient medical histories.
• Perform patient work-ups and pre-testing.
• Measure visual acuity and conduct pupil assessments.
• Run diagnostic tests (tonometry, OCT, topography, keratometry).
• Perform manual refractions and assist with contact lens evaluations.
• Accurately scribe for physicians during exams.
• Support workflow for efficient patient flow.
