Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer at our Deer Park, TX location to provide customer service, manage access control, and perform patrols at a chemical/petrochemical site. This role supports site operations while upholding safety and quality standards. The position requires a TSA-issued TWIC and a valid driver’s license.

You should be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Shifts run day and evening; a $1,000 hiring bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Criminal histories considered per law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Control access by verifying credentials and entry requirements.
• Monitor access points, alarms, and communications equipment.
• Report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with responders.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized entry.
