Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking a qualified engineer to manage a portfolio of projects using the PIPE stage gate process. You will coordinate with construction teams, review safety and operability, and ensure conformance to HF Sinclair standards. Field walk downs and RFIs are part of the role.

The position requires strong PM skills, engineering knowledge, and the ability to work across disciplines in an industrial refinery setting with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of progressive work experience in operations or engineering including project integration or management.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Applies PM skills for a portfolio of concurrent projects in different phases.
• Follows PIPE stage gate process and PM tools to maintain docs and reporting.
• Coordinates with Engineering Contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of phase deliverables.
• Reviews MOC requirements for safety, operability and maintainability.
• Reviews engineering drawings to meet HF Sinclair specs and objectives.
• Conducts field walk downs and constructability reviews.
• Provides technical support during construction and resolves RFIs promptly.
• Monitors progress and develops risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepares decision packages for project approvals and presents to leadership.
