A leading energy company based in El Dorado, KS, is seeking a Process Safety Engineer to develop and implement essential Process Safety programs. The role includes supporting refinery operations, compliance with regulatory standards, and leading safety initiatives. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in a refinery environment and a strong understanding of safety management practices. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a refinery or petrochemical environment required.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a Process Safety support role preferred.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and refinery operations required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Process Safety support to refinery operations.
• Serve as Layers of Protection Analysis Technical Authority.
• Perform monthly performance metric reporting for Process Safety.

Skills

Proficiency in OSHA Process Safety Management

Strong written and verbal communication

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with engineering software

Education

Bachelor’s engineering degree
