Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation invites Chemical Engineering students to join our Findlay, Ohio internship program for spring, summer, and fall terms. You will work with engineers to gain hands-on experience in refinery operations, process optimization, and cross-disciplinary projects while receiving mentorship and professional development.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be majoring in Chemical Engineering
• Strong academic performance
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without visa sponsorship
• Positions available spring, summer, and fall semesters
• A valid driver's license is required
• Concurrent enrollment in a degree seeking program
• Military experience is a plus
• MIN - $33.54 - $42.45 MAX

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with process equipment fundamentals and best practices.
• Work with a team to run a portion of the refinery process and expand understanding of plant operations.
• Develop written and verbal presentation skills in a professional environment.
• Assist in projects across process engineering, technical services, operations research, environmental, and economics areas.
