Zusammenfassung

The Performance Analyst at CITGO Petroleum Corporation will gather, analyze, visualize, and communicate refinery operational, commercial, and financial performance information to support optimization and margin improvement.

This position develops and maintains performance dashboards, KPIs, plan‑versus‑actual variance analysis, and value chain monitoring tools used by refinery leadership and executive management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of refinery or relevant analytical experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, data visualization, and dashboard-development skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Working knowledge of refinery operations, economics, planning, margin analysis, optimization principles, and value chain performance.
• Experience developing KPI frameworks, automated reporting tools, performance scorecards, and plan-versus-actual variance analysis.
• Advanced communication, presentation, and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate analytical findings to refinery leadership and executive management.
• Ability to collaborate across Operations, Process Engineering, Planning, Supply, Commercial, Logistics, Optimization, Finance, and corporate teams.

Aufgaben

• Develops and maintains refinery performance dashboards, KPI scorecards, and automated reporting tools used to monitor operational performance, commercial activity, margin capture, value chain optimization, and key business objectives.
• Gathers, analyzes, and reports refinery production and performance information on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Prepares and administers the Refinery Reliability Index; tracks events, participates in monthly reviews, maintains audit‑support documentation, presents results to Senior Management.
• Compiles analyses and materials for MSOM, STO, MAM, and other leadership reviews, translating data into concise, decision‑oriented information.
• Performs plan-versus-actual and forecast-versus-actual variance analysis to identify drivers of performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Supports internal and external reporting, including regulatory filings and corporate studies; develops tools to monitor value chain performance and profitability.
