Job summary

HF Sinclair in Anacortes, WA, seeks a Metal Trades crafts person to troubleshoot, test, repair and maintain refinery fixed equipment across the site. The role demands hands-on maintenance, compliance with safety standards, and the ability to work nights or long shifts as required.

Experience in maintenance metal trades is essential; journeyman status is preferred. Candidates should reside within 60 miles of the site and be able to operate basic workshop and site equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance metal trades experience.
• Preferred journeyman status in metal trades in an industrial environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance to improve reliability of fixed refinery equipment.
• Coordinate with Team Leader and planner on daily/weekly work status.
• Work with piping systems (including screwed, flanged and non-metallic) and process equipment installation/removal.
• Use CMMS to document job details and maintenance activities.
• Operate site equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts as needed.
