Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking two Lab Technicians for a major refinery in Anacortes, WA. Local candidates only. Temporary to direct roles with 10-hour shifts and a mandatory TWIC card.

Hourly wage offered is $35–$37. Candidates will perform quality control, data management, and routine laboratory tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include testing, instrument verification, safety programs, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six months of related material testing experience.
• Preferred: one year of laboratory or equivalent work experience.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine product quality control and specification testing.
• Enters and maintains lab results in databases and written records; communicates results to management.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Verifies and maintains testing instruments and equipment.
• Performs Health, Safety & Environmental programs as directed.
• Manages expendable laboratory supplies.
