Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Salt Lake City is seeking an Inventory Controller to lead site-level inventory planning and material coordination for the Salt Lake City Refinery.

The role interfaces with Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain to align material availability, inventory, and replenishment with equipment criticality and site priorities. The successful candidate will reside in Salt Lake City, UT and report to the Supply Chain Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of Supply Chain or business relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and replenishes inventory and reviews Turnaround and Project demand.
• Converts planned orders to purchase requisitions and coordinates sourcing.
• Schedules transfers within and across plants to fulfill requirements.
• Performs inventory reviews, forecasts demand, and analyzes stock levels for optimization.
• Leads inventory management continuous improvement projects with key stakeholders.
