Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners seeks a Terminal Operator to run terminal equipment, oversee inventories, and ensure compliant operations for refined products. The role involves loading, unloading, monitoring meters, and coordinating with teams to maintain reliability.

Under supervision, you will gauge tanks, input data, perform reconciliations, and assist across facilities. A high school diploma is required; off-hours work and travel may be needed in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate with peers and management.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work off-hours.
• Able to use basic hand tools and testing equipment.
• Proficient in mathematics and unit conversions.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Gauge storage tanks and take daily meter readings.
• Provide customer service to commercial and operations reps.
• Calculate and input inventories and readings into systems.
• Perform daily/monthly reconciliation of inventories and thru-puts.
• Perform maintenance on office building and assets.
• Support loading of petroleum products onto trucks and receive from pipelines.
• Travel to facilities with little notice to assist terminals.
• Take product samples and perform quality control tests.
• Lead safe work practices and report unsafe conditions.
