Job summary

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is seeking a Full-Time Referrals Assistant to join our Administration team in Fort Myers. The role supports both internal and external customers, reviews referral requests, and assists Referral Specialists with daily operations while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality in a high-volume medical office.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of medical office experience or a combination of education and office work, with prior referral experience

Qualifications

• One year of medical office experience or a combination of education and office experience required.
• Prior medical referral experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high volume office environment.

Responsibilities

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Referrals Assistant to join our Administration team in Fort Myers. Schedule is Monday through Friday, Day Shift.

Our Referrals Assistant

• Provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers
• Review and track referral requests for the Referrals department
• Assist Referral Specialists with day-to-day operations
• Record information accurately into our patient management system
• Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

To be Successful – You Need

• Experience working in a high volume office environment
• Great attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Ability to handle all interactions in a professional manner
• One year of medical office experience or a combination of education and office experience required.
• Prior medical referral experience preferred
